THE FIRST ANNUAL “RUN WITH THE DOG”

WINTER CLASSIC 5K

Saturday, December 10, 2005     10:00AM

“Get in one last race in ‘05”

COURSE:  Flat and fast course begins with lap on Jersey Shore High School’s track then follows an out and back course with a downhill finish in front of Jersey Shore Area High School building. 

ENTRY FEE:        

·          Pre-Registration Wednesday December 7th- $12.00, including high-quality orange t-shirt with black print to the first 50 runners who pre-register.         

·          Post-Registration - $15.00 (t-shirts will be given out while supplies last). Registration from 9:00-9:45 at High School.

AWARDS AND AGE GROUPS:

Overall male and female winners will receive a Winners Cup.  Top 3 runners in each age group will receive medals.

Male (Medals) 14 and under (3), 15-19 (3), 20-29 (3), 30-39 (3), 40-49 (3), 50-59 (3), 60-and over (3)

Female (Medals) 14 and under (3), 15-19 (3), 20-29 (3), 30-39 (3), 40-49 (3), 50-59 (3), 60-and over (3)

Race registration will be held from 9:00 – 9:45 AM at the Jersey Shore Area High School on Saturday, December 10, 2005 which is located at 701 Cemetary St. Directions to the High school can be found at  http://jsasd.schoolwires.com/5408%5F401110223225/map/view.asp?A=372&Q=273514&C=51192. The 5K run will start promptly at 10:00 AM. Miles will be marked with splits.  The run will start and finish near the High School.  Race will be held rain, snow, or shine.  Post race awards and snacks will be held in the High School following the race.  Additional race apps will be available at www.clubdirt.tripod.com as well as complete race results by around 2 PM Saturday afternoon.
